Who Are We?
A group of like-minded engineers with a passion for "utility engineering."
Creating utilities specifically to help solve an imminent challenge.
If it never gets used, was it even worth it?

Experience
10+ years in a fast-paced, high-tech (prototype) engineering environment
5+ years of technical project management and engineering planning (managed a team of up to 5 engineers and 1 designer at a time)
5+ years doing primarily software development & Python3 coding (using the QT framework); focused on python coding, data handling, and data analysis
Has both worked within and led the technical side of United States Department of Defense (DoD) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts (Air Force, Navy, NOAA)
Phase I, II, and II.5
System design - either directly led or took a large part in the design of many different "unmanned platforms"
8 different sonobuoys ("sonar-buoys" - oceanographic hydrophones that both float and sink)
4 unmanned aerial systems (UAS - these fly!)
1 unmanned surface vehicle (USV - these float!)
1 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV - these sink!)
Data analysis - was a data analyst for sonobuoy data (hundreds of gigabytes of acoustic, GPS, IMU, and pressure sensor data)
Skills
PyCharm / Python "expert" by now - majorly in thanks to his personal "hobby" of coding & continual learning - but also in part due to his prior workplace & experiences there
Adept at 3D modeling / CAD (depending on specific modeling software), including some experience in parametric-driven modeling using Python & FreeCAD (and soon Unreal Engine 5 as well!!!)
Experienced using a multitude of different tools; general engineering lab equipment, pressure chambers, and a wide variety of other data acquisition equipment / data acquisition techniques
Prototype fabrication (experienced in CNC mill operation, manual lathe operation, laser-etcher operation, soldering & wiring, minor PCB work / repairs, and composite layups)
Currently Learning
Platforms: Linux (in general as well as how to create apps for it), MacOS (create apps)
Coding languages: Java, C++
IDEs: Visual Studio, Eclipse
3D Rendering: Unreal Engine 5
Licenses / Patents / Other
ATF Explosives License (handling, storage)
Secret-Level US Security Clearance (expired)
FAA Part 107 UAS Pilot Certificate (expired)
